Steve has been fascinated with cameras since childhood. He worked on school newspapers, yearbooks and at age 16 a season of wedding photography. How Fox Tales Children’s Book got started...
In late May 2022, Wendy was leisurely scrolling her Facebook feed when she spied a posting by her friend, Steve Fitch. When she saw the beautiful photos of this fox family that Steve had taken on a farm near his home in Millington, she commented “Steve, these pictures are beautiful! They should be in a children’s book!” And Steve’s response post said, “Start writing!”. So she did! Steve kept watch of the foxes day by day, sometimes 5-6 hours at a time, taking over 6,000 photographs by the end of the summer. The author and photographer researched foxes and how they live, to add fun facts to the story and create a kids’ learning book about foxes and other woodland creatures for children to enjoy.
The collaboration of this author and photographer produced Fox Tales Children’s book, a fine art photography children’s book about foxes that kids, grandkiddos and adults have loved and enjoyed! We hope you do, too!
